What is a SNG (Sit-n-Go)?
A SNG (Sit-nGo) is a form of Poker where usually there are 4-9 players. It is a single table tournament in which the top 3 win the payout. Most of the SNG (Sit-n-Go) will be in a Turbo format to make or force the game to move faster.
Why would anyone play in the SNG (Sit-n-Go)?
Most people that play in SNG (Sit-n-Go) because they dont have the time to play it MTT (Multi Table Tournament). A SNG (Sit-n-Go) can go very quickly and a player that choose's to play in this kind of Tournament can in most case's play 4 to 5 games in about 2 hours.
The Payouts are based upon the buy-in amount. A player that plays in a $5.00 SNG (Sit-n-Go) will pay the $0.50 fee for entry which goes to the Owner of the site for maintenace. So the Total fee would be $5.50 and based upon a payout structure for the SNG (Sit-n-Go)
1st 50%
2nd 30%
3rd 20%
This is why having a SNG (Sit-n-Go) Poker Coach to help you learn the right plays and the right way to play these. The reason you need a Coach is to help you go from a player that just plays this typ of Poker Game to a player that can consistantly finish in top 3.
As a Poker Player myself at one point and time I played the $5.50 buy-in games. And did and the transition from a MTT (Multi Talbe Tournament) player to a SNG (Sit-n-Go) player takes some getting to use to. As in MTT a player takes more shots to steal the pot. But in a SNG (Sit-n-Go) you have to have a strategy to be able to be successful.
Thats why a Coach comes in play in helping you understand the full aspect of your game.
