Fifteen seasons in, the iconic World Poker Tour looks stronger than ever with the release of its innovative and jam-packed Season XV schedule.
Already two events in to the season the full lineup of events for 2016-2017 has now been revealed with some spectacular new additions joining plenty of old favorites.
Chief among the new features are the partypoker WPT Passport, an expanded WPT Caribbean Festival in the Dominican Republic and the all-new WPT Festival Championship.
The Festival Championship will award one seat to the Main Event at each event via a winners-only tournaments from preliminary events of the festival.

The recently completed WPT Tournament of Champions, won by Holland's Farid Yachou, will be back for a second go-round next Spring.
The new WPT Passport will allow online qualifiers who win a $530 satellite to choose which partypoker-sponsored event they will attend during Season XV with a $5,000 package.
Each WPT Passport winner has 12 months to pick which WPT Main Event they wish to play.
Live-streamed final tables on the World Poker Tour will also have a new look for Season XV with enhanced graphics and a new, custom set for those not being broadcast on TV. Most live-streamed final tables will also be broadcast throughout Asia with Chinese commentary.
